The southwestern tribes adapted to a life of hardship with amazing results, they built cities and became famous for their weaving and pottery skills. They were groups of hardy, brave men and women who lived in some of the harshest country in North America. The Southwestern Tribes were the Apache, Comanche, Havasupai, Hopi, Jemez, Kiowa, Kiowa Apache, Lipan, Maricopa, Mohave, Navaho, Paiute, Papago, Panamint, Pecos, Pima, Pueblo, Shoshoni, Sobaipuri, Tewa Pueblos, Ute, Walapai, Yavapai, Yuma and Zuņi.
