The Canadian Tribes and North United States Tribes were the same in some cases. The Border was on paper alone and the people who lived in one village were closely related to those who lived in another just across the border. The Canadian Tribes consisted of the Algonkin, Arapaho, Assiniboin, Atsina, Chippewa, Cree, Crow, Dakota, Haida, Hidatsa, Huron, Iroquois, Kutenai and Tionontati as well as others.
